1. Three confessions of your choice.
I think I spend too much time reading blogs. Given the number of times in a day I’ll turn to Darren and say “so I was reading this blog…” well. It might be a bit ridiculous.
I went through a phase where I didn’t like cheesecake. Scandalous!
I’d rather be a housewife. Not because I don’t have ambitions, but because I want to spend all day playing around in my kitchen.
2. Your favorite musician and why?
I already covered that topic here.
I had kind of a weird night last night. Darren and I went to bed at 11:00, but talked until around 11:30. the last time I looked at my clock before falling asleep, it was 11:47.
All of a sudden I was awake with the dog’s face next to me. When she wants us to get up, she’ll stand my the bed and rest her head on it and just stare, wagging her tail. “Enli, it’s like 2 in the morning, go back to sleep,” I told her, pretending she spoke English. Then my eyes adjusted and I looked at the clock. It was 12:10.
So the dog came back to bed and we went back to sleep.
A few hours later I woke up again to the sound of breaking glass. I was maybe a little delirious from sleep and assumed someone had broken a window. I tapped Darren and he reasonably assumed one of the cats had knocked a glass off the counter. Yes, that is a bit more likely. Also, the sound of a drinking glass breaking versus a window shattering? Not really the same.
Sure enough, one of the cats had knocked a glass into our ceramic sink. Fortunately it went into the sink and not on the floor. We cleaned it up and again returned to bed.
When my alarm went off at six I was deliberating whether I wanted to get up and go to the gym, or sleep for another hour. I drifted off just long enough to destroy any chance of making it to the gym, but the dog wanted to go outside and wouldn’t let me sleep any more. In the end, she got her walk and I just went to work a little earlier than usual.
